Program Outline

10:30am Coffee/Tea and Networking

11.00am CSA VCE Delivery Project: This session will be a facilitated brainstorming session in relation to the project plan.

One of the key challenges currently facing Christian schools is staffing and the capacity to find staff who are both suitably qualified but also able to align their practices with a lived Biblical ethos. Staffing is a challenge for all schools and, even more so, for those in rural and remote areas. Staffing VCE is a particular challenge. In addition to this, it is a challenge for small schools to offer a range of VCE subjects due to both small student numbers and lack of staff. Whilst some schools from time to time have endeavoured to share VCE delivery and resources, these have been short term solutions. Therefore, the Vic/Tas SALT are intending to instigate a project which will look at new and sustainable solutions.
